Mr. Tuomi's Page

My name is Matthew Tuomi.  I teach 8th grade science and supervise the school's Science Club.  This is my 3rd year with District 13.  

 

I graduated from Concordia University, with a BA in Biology and a minor in Coaching.  This will be my 20th year teaching. 

 

In my past experiences I have taught middle school science and math.  I have also worked at the high school  level teaching biology, chemistry, Earth science, and AP Chemistry.  I have also coached high school baseball and basketball.

 

I was a an elementary principal for a few years as well.
