Mr. Hatter's Page

Originally from Roselle, IL, Mr. Hatter attended Lake Park High School before graduating from the University of Iowa with degrees in Percussion Performance and Music Education. For the last four years he has been a Director of Bands at Morton High School and Junior High in Morton, IL. While at Morton, the marching band was two time state champions, placed top in their class throughout the state, and was consistent semi-finalists at the Bands of America Grand National Championships. Mr. Hatter was also a part of brought the Morton Wind Ensemble to the 2024 National Concert Band Festival, one of the highest honors for a high school ensemble in the country. In his free time, Mr. Hatter likes to try new restaurants and recipies with his fiance (a Westfield graduate herself!), watch the Bears, and teach drumline at Lake Park High School.

Mr. Hatter is excited to be a part of the District 13 team this year, back in the area he grew up in!
